France pharma industry registered a 46.2% rise in IT hiring activity in April 2021 compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics index.
The industry’s overall hiring increased by 6.93% in April 2021 compared with March 2021.
Out of the pharma industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 1.15% share in April 2021, recording increase of 0.41% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in France pharma industry’s IT recruitment activity in April 2021
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of France pharma industry in April 2021.
1) Computer and Information Research Scientists recorded a share of 30.23% in April 2021, a 160% growth over the previous month.
2) Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a 25.58% share, increase of 120% over the previous month.
3) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers held a share of 20.93%, registering a 12.5% rise from March 2021.
4) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations captured a share of 18.6%, down 27.27% over the previous month.
Top five pharma companies in France IT recruitment activity in April 2021
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 142.86% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of France pharma industry during April 2021 over March 2021.
Sanofi posted 19 IT jobs in April 2021 and registered a rise of 58.33% over the previous month, followed by nThrive with 5 jobs and a 400% growth. Eli Lilly and with 5 IT jobs and AbbVie with 3 jobs, recorded a flat growth and a flat growth, respectively, while F. Hoffmann-La Roche recorded a 100% increase with 2 job postings during April 2021.
Junior Level job postings dominate in April 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 67.44%, up by 61.11% from March 2021. Entry Level positions with a 20.93% share, a growth of 12.5% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with 11.63% share, a flat growth over March 2021.
