Iran, Ireland FMs hold talks in Tehran

Tehran (ISNA) – Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif received his Irish counterpart Simon Coveney on Sunday.

During the meeting held at Iran’s Foreign Ministry building in Tehran, the two foreign ministers discussed the 2015 nuclear deal known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), bilateral issues and the latest international developments.  

Iranian deputy Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi and Foreign Ministry spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh had also participated in the meeting.

Earlier today, Ireland’s foreign minister met with Iranian President Hassan Rouhani.

Simon Coveney has visited Tehran on Sunday to confer with Iranian officials on the JCPOA.
