Iran, Qatar foreign ministers hold talks

Tehran (ISNA) – Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran Mohammad Javad Zarif and his Qatari counterpart Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani have held talks on a range of issues via videoconference.

As part of bilateral and regional consultations between Iran and Qatar, Foreign Minister Zarif and Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman, the deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, held a videoconference. 

In the talks, the two top diplomats discussed the latest regional and international developments and the issues of mutual interest, and called for the promotion of mutual cooperation and continuation of consultations. 

As the two sides discussed the issues about holding the seventh meeting of the Joint Economic Commission, the Islamic Republic of Iran expressed readiness to share its experiences and capabilities to fight against the coronavirus.
