PUTRAJAYA: Malaysia recorded 1,555 new Covid-19 cases on Tuesday (March 2), says the Health Ministry.
At a press conference here, Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said six more people died while 2,528 patients were discharged,
Since the start of the pandemic, the country has now seen 304,135 Covid-19 infections and 278,431 recoveries.
Malaysia’s Covid-19 death toll is now up to 1,141.
There are currently 24,563 active Covid-19 cases nationwide, of which 204 are under intensive care, with 96 on ventilator support.
